
This last-minute Father’s day singing time lesson plan idea can be pulled together in a pinch!
Get a picture of a dad or grandpa (or both is really fun). Play hot potato with it as you sing your favorite dad and grandpa primary songs. When the pianist randomly stops, the child holding the dad or grandpa gets to name their favorite thing about their dad or grandpa.
For older children, you can also add the words to the chalk board in chalk. When the music stops, in addition to naming their favorite thing, they can come erase a word from the song.
