Review ANY Primary song(s) with this simple variation of hot potato! Your Primary will love playing Father’s Day Singing Time Hot Potato as they pass around a picture of a father or grandfather!
Picture of Grandpa and Father
For this activity, find a picture of a grandfather and a father. This printable is available to download:

Singing Time Activity
Play hot potato while you sing ANY song! Check out the list of Father’s Day songs in the back of the Children’s Songbook for ideas! Post the words as needed like I do HERE.
Pass around one picture (or both for added difficulty!) as the Primary sings. When the pianist stops randomly, the child(ren) holding the picture(s) gets to say one thing they like to do with (or just about) their father or grandfather.
Repeat until everyone’s had a turn to talk about their father/grandfather.
Hot Potato Variation
Write the words to your song on the board. Pass around the pictures and when the pianist randomly stops, the children holding them gets to erase a word and then tell one thing they like to do with (or just like about) their father or grandfather.
