The visuals found in the Outline for Sharing time are for the first verse only. So I took the liberty to create similar visuals for the second verse.

Variation

Have 2 children come up and as the primary sings the 2nd verse, they must put these 9 words in the right order so they fit in with the 5 picture key words. The goal being to get them all in order before finish singing the song.
Sing the song to check answers. Then take out the words again, scramble them and get 2 new primary children to come try. Hopefully everyone will get a turn and you will the song several times.

I introduced this song by telling the children that there was a missionary that I was a big fan of. Not only did I love his music but I was a big fan because he always tries to do what is right. Then I downloaded and played this video of "I'm trying to be like Jesus"

Really quick before Sunday–the second verse doesn't have 'whispers' at the end-it says "the Holy Spirit enters into my thoughts 'saying'" I was just going through it and saw that. Thanks so much for this idea for the second verse. I was having a hard time coming up with anything!
Jenna- Use the "thoughts" visual from verse 1
Did just that – thank you!
I ended up just making my own picture for 'enters'. I just wanted to make sure you didn't get up there on Sunday and realize you had the wrong word. I have done that before (plenty of times)and I get so embarrassed! 🙂
Jenna, thank you so much! I think I know a song and then realize I've totally made a mistake!
I really appreciate your blog. Simple and fun is my motto as well! Thank you!
Thank you!
Camille do you still have these documents you can post? As far as I can tell on here I just 'save image as'?
Thanks, we are doing this song for April.
Hi Jennifer!
I've updated the post! Thanks for always helping me update everything!!

I can always count on you 🙂 Thanks… my primary has been loving the activities!

Just a little thing, and I have re typed it for myself, but Jesus has been spelt with a small j. Thanks for all your work, I don't know where you find the time, but it certainly helps 100's of us out here.
