The visuals found in the Outline for Sharing time are for the first verse only.  So I took the liberty to create similar visuals for the second verse.

Use the same lesson plan for teaching the 2nd verse as you did for teaching the 1st.  Find those details HERE.

These are key word/pictures for the 2nd verse I made.  There are color and black and white options so make sure to print what you need.

Print and place in plastic sheet protectors.  Before primary hang the whole song (1st and 2nd verses and chorus) around the room.

Quickly organize the first verse and chorus onto the board for review and then move on to the second verse, pointing to the next pictures and putting them in order on the board.

Variation

If you want to add a challenge for the 2nd verse (great for Senior primary!) Try this:

Print and cut out these additional key words:

Have just the 5 second verse PICTURE key words hanging in order (with lots of space in between) on the board.  Then these key words will be hung along the bottom, out of order.

Have 2 children come up and as the primary sings the 2nd verse, they must put these 9 words in the right order so they fit in with the 5 picture key words.  The goal being to get them all in order before finish singing the song.

Sing the song to check answers.  Then take out the words again, scramble them and get 2 new primary children to come try.  Hopefully everyone will get a turn and you will the song several times.

  1. Really quick before Sunday–the second verse doesn't have 'whispers' at the end-it says "the Holy Spirit enters into my thoughts 'saying'" I was just going through it and saw that. Thanks so much for this idea for the second verse. I was having a hard time coming up with anything!

  2. I ended up just making my own picture for 'enters'. I just wanted to make sure you didn't get up there on Sunday and realize you had the wrong word. I have done that before (plenty of times)and I get so embarrassed! 🙂

  3. Just a little thing, and I have re typed it for myself, but Jesus has been spelt with a small j. Thanks for all your work, I don't know where you find the time, but it certainly helps 100's of us out here.
