Camille's Primary Ideas June Singing Time Schedule

Holy smokes – can you believe summer is right around the corner?  Where did spring go?  It’s going to be program time before we know it!

Here’s my monthly outline for June.  I thought since there are 5 weeks and June’s song is a repeat from last year, we’ll only spend one week on the program song, 2 weeks learning a new Father’s Day song, and 2 weeks reviewing our January – June program songs with 2 review games.

As always, the words to most of the songs are posted above, under the “Posting Words” tab.

  1. Hi Camille! I'm a brand spankin' new chorister and have been stalking your site since Sunday, lol. My first day will be the last Sunday of June, so I was thinking of keeping it sort of light–doing a lot of fun things to introduce myself and get to know the kids (I've been a Sunbeam teacher for three years and our Jr and Sr primaries are combined–so most of the kids know me and I know them which is AWESOME).

Anyway, I've joined the yahoo group and the FB group, have plans to make the wiggle worm jar and choosing sticks and am now trying to wrap my head around the actual SONGS we will sing. Since I've stolen everything else from your blog, naturally I came to look at your schedule!

    And I have a question!

In your Singing Time schedule above, what did you mean by "outline". In between If the Savior Stood Beside Me and We'll Bring the World His Truth, you have "outline". Can you tell me what that means?

Thanks a bunch, Camille. For EVERYTHING. I feel very hopeful about this new endeavor now and it's all because of you and the service you provide by sharing your experiences here.

    THANK YOU THANK YOU!!

    1. Hi Ali,

Thank you for all your nice comments – makes putting up the blog worth the effort! To answer your question, If you look at that list of songs I have all the page numbers associated with each song. "If the Savior Stood Beside Me" is found in this year's 2013 primary program outline so I just wrote "outline" so I know where to reference it since it's not in the Primary songbook. I hope that clarifies things. If not, let me know. I'm hoping you have received an outline and know what it is. If not, search "2013 outline" or something similar on my blog and that post should pop up.

      ~Camille

  2. I am loving your site! Thank you for sharing your great ideas. Can you tell me how you play Jeopardy? I've never even watched the real show. I know you answer and have to guess a question or something? Thanks in advance.

  3. Hi! Any chance you will be doing a July schedule? I totally love how simple you keep it and would love to keep benefiting from your skills:).

    Lisa

    1. Hi Lisa,

Yes – I'll be getting that schedule out this week. Sorry for the delay. My sister got married last weekend and I've had family in town for the past few days. Finally getting back on my feet!
