Just pulling out previous years’ work again this week with my Turkey Take Down (also known as Turkey Toss). You can find the original post HERE.
This year I am changing it up a bit as our primary has combined Jr./Sr. now (don’t ask if I like it or not) so I need to accommodate for more kids and everyone being WAY more rowdy, especially with games.
After you’ve read how the game initially works in the link above, here’s how I’m changing it:
I’ll have my table full of turkeys set up at the front of the room (so all those little Sunbeams get the best view and hopefully stay entertained!) then have an aisle down the middle.
I’ll call up entire classes at time and give them each a bean bag. They will all stand in a line at the back of the room (getting closer to the table as the class ages decline) and each take a shot at knocking off the turkeys. Last turkey knocked off will be the song we sing.
I’m sure it will get a little crazy but oh well – we can have a little fun sometimes. That’s what the holidays are about, right?

Love it! Thanks!
Did this today in our primary and it was a HUGE hit! We have three primary's in our ward (Junior, intermediate, and senior) and all of them loved it! Thank you!
