Why aren't you doing the wise man and the foolish man song for the program?
Thank you got all your ideas and years of lesson
So have you had #6 yet?! If you have, congratulations! I am so impressed, dear sister, at how much you're getting done, and how much you are helping so many people. I hope you are doing well, and thank you!!!
Do you have the lesson plan for the little houses on the 9th? The link goes to Susan Fitch's download (which she is offering free…..so nice:)
I'm going to consolidate all the questions into one response – hopefully that's okay :).
Kristina, I didn't feel like the kids could sing the song without doing the actions in sacrament meeting (not sure I could!) and since they threw in the option to pick your own song, I jumped on that. I want the kids to be as familiar with as many songs in the songbook as possible.
Summer, I haven't had my baby yet – 2 more weeks and counting! Luckily sitting at the computer isn't too hard to do while pregnant so keeping up my blog hasn't been bad at all. But thank you for your kind comment!
Rebecca, the simple lesson plan I will implement is on Susan Fitch's blog where she mentions: "I put a rock inside the stone cottage before I glued it together. I asked the kids to try to blow them both over." We'll just sing the song a few times and have kids come up and try to blow over the houses.
I hope that answers your questions – sorry I'm not as quick with my respones as I'd like to be!

Thank you for idea for the Wise Man and the Foolish Man. Ive been using if with my nursery music time and the kids love it. They eagerly wait for their turn to see if they can blow the houses over. I might need to add some more weight to the Wise man's house because some of the three year olds can really blow hard!
mamalaoshi – that is TOO funny! Thanks for sharing and I'm happy to hear it's going well in nursery!!
