The Wise Man and the Foolish Man & Every Star Is Different

This post was meant to be posted on Friday but I ended up going into labor so I never finished it!  So here it is, after-the-fact – hopefully I didn’t leave too many of you hanging.  About half the lesson was spent on The Wise Man and the Foolish Man then the rest of the time on the 1st and 2nd verses of Every Star is Different – with my sub, of course ;).

Find my lesson plan HERE for The Wise Man and the Foolish Man.  We won’t be singing this for our program but it has a great message and made for a great wiggle song for the first bit of singing time.

Then I chose Every Star is Different to include in the program (if you still need ideas on a song to choose, check out link above as well).  We only worked on the verses this week, learning the chorus next week.  Find my lesson plan HERE.

And just to share a little bit of my personal life (hope you don’t mind)…here’s my family with our newest addition, baby Taggart or Tagg for short:

If my posts are not as prompt as usual, please forgive me but I will do my best to stay on top of everything here.  You can always resort to my monthly singing time schedule HERE which will at least give you an idea of what the upcoming post will contain and I’ll definitely have August’s ready to go on time.

  1. Congratulations!!! What a beautiful family! Hope your recovery is quick and all those little helpers give you and extra hand. Love your blog so much. You've made this calling so much more enjoyable. Sending lots of love and good sleeping wishes your way!

  2. Congrats on the baby! Thank you so much for all you do on this blog. It is my go-to spot for ideas and has made this calling manageable for me as I am NOT at all creative! Enjoy that babe, and I hope you have a swift and easy recovery! 🙂

  3. Yay for you and your sweet family!!! Such adorable kiddos–like their mom and dad! 🙂
Congrats to you!! And a million thanks for all of your AMAZING posts. You ARE my music teacher and resource. I don't know what I'd do without your site.
Have fun with baby Tagg (I love his name) and try to get some rest.

  5. Camille! Congratulations! I was recently called as a primary chorister and found your blog through the Facebook page. Your site is wonderful and has been a HUGE resource for me. Thank you SO much for the time and effort you take in keeping everything together here. And WOW, what a beautiful family you have! Thank you for sharing!!

  6. Congratulations on your newest addition. Darling family. Thank you for all your wonderful ideas. May the Lord strengthen you as you care for your precious children. I always call the first 3 months of a baby's life the three month fog, so don't worry if you don't post much. If you add one more daughter you will match our family. Children are the greatest joy.

  7. Bless you for all you do even with so much going on in your life! You know, I'm sure you could take a short break from posting for your babymoon. You don't owe us anything, although we certainly appreciate all you do for us. Enjoy your new baby!

  8. I don't usually comment on blogs, but I just wanted to thank you for all your creative ideas and hard work. I visit your site often and really appreciate everything you post. Congratulations on your new addition. What a beautiful family!
