Jump Ahead So You’re Not Behind!

With 5 Sundays this month and only 3 next month in April due to General Conference, I’m going to jump at the chance to get a little ahead this Sunday!  It would probably make more sense to get ahead next week but I really want to do a General Conference themed singing time so stay tuned for that!

Looking at my calendar, I thought this week would be the best to get ahead on our April program song.  I’ll be teaching I Feel My Savior’s Love.  I just posted my lesson plan for that HERE.  I’ll be teaching it using simplified ASL.  I always like to teach one song for our program using sign language (that we will sign in the actual program) so this will be that song for this year.

If you’ve chosen to teach the other 2 suggested songs for April, never fear!

I have a lesson plan for teaching Faith HERE.
(this was SUPER fun!  A little more labor intensive than I usually prefer but every once in a while I don’t mind going all out!  You can always alter the lesson plan to make it more simplified.)

Then I will have a lesson plan for Jesus Has Risen next month.  We’ll be learning and singing this one during sacrament meeting for Easter.  More to come!

This Sunday would also be a great week to get a jump start on your Easter song to sing in sacrament meeting if you’ve chosen something different.  You can scroll through all my Easter lesson plans HERE.

If you need to take an extra Sunday and get caught up, make sure to check out my March singing time schedule HERE.

Or you could do a General Conference singing time this week.  Check out all of my posts HERE.  Just note that I’ll have something new coming next week!!

So many options!  How are you going to use your extra week this month?  Leave a comment to help someone else out!

Then I’ll have my April singing time schedule up next week so stay tuned!  We’re getting into busy season in singing time with Easter, Mothers Day and Father’s Day all back-to-back – phew!  So it will definitely help out to jump ahead while we have the chance!
