May 26th:
Welcome Song: Hello, Friends p. 254
Opening Song: The Books in the New Testament p. 116
Scripture Song: I Am A Child of God p. 2
Lesson Song: Jesus Once Was a Little Child p. 55, Baptism p. 100, Tell Me the Stories of Jesus p. 57, I Feel My Savior’s Love p. 74, Keep the Commandments p. 146
Lesson Song Details: Review all our 2019 program songs. I’ve been wanting to give these magnetic spinners a whirl (pun TOTALLY intended!) since they were shared on FB HERE. I just ordered these (they are cheap so I may get what I pay for – we’ll see!):
(I get a small commission if you order from this link)
**UPDATE: Mine just arrived and they are NOT magnetic and they don’t spin very well! Ugh! How did I do that? So I’m trying another option and ordered these instead:
(I get a small commission if you order from this link)
They are a little more pricey but you definitely get what you pay for. The cheap ones may work by hot gluing on a strong magnet but they hardly spin which is pretty lame!
Then have them point to fun ways to sing either from this list HERE or Susan Fitch’s HERE (this is what) I’m learning toward.
I’ve decided to hold off on this activity. Susan Fitch created this wonderful kit, Jesus and the 12 Apostles that I’m going to use instead. I’ve got that activity posted HERE.
Make sure to check out all of my review activities HERE for more ideas!
I bought the more expensive spinners and love them. Of course I had them in the old days of sharing time. But we would just draw whatever we wanted the spinner to look like on the whiteboard and spin away.
