September 2019 Singing Time Schedule

We’re delving right into September!  And September typically means primary program practice month (wow, that’s a mouthful)!!  I’ve got a Come Follow Me Program Review activity planned for this month (sneak peek below!!) that coincides wonderfully with The New Testament that we’ve all been studying this year!

But first, have you pre-ordered your Music Bag?  Make sure to check out more details HERE!  Orders are filling up and there’s a limited supply so don’t delay!

Okay, on to business…
See how I use my singing time schedule HERE!  Then download an editable and printable version of the below information HERE or use my September 2019 Singing Time Planner found HERE.
I Know That My Redeemer Lives is the song our primary will be learning this month for our program.  We will be singing it as the closing hymn for our program.  The primary will sing the first verse and the congregation will join in on the rest of the verses.  As far as a lesson plan goes, it will be VERY simple.  I’ll pass out a hymn book to the older kids and we’ll sing it at the beginning of singing time each week.  To introduce it, the kids will be figuring out a code.  Check out more details HERE.
You can find my lesson plan for A Child’s Prayer HERE if you’ll be teaching this song this month.  This song was also one of January 2019’s song suggestions so it may only be a review for your primary this month.
Find my lesson plan for When We’re Helping HERE.  This might make for a great wiggle song in between practicing program songs!
If you want to see what I’ve taught this year so far, and what I will be teaching for the rest of the year, check out my post HERE.

September is when we spend most of our time reviewing the songs we’ve learned all year for our upcoming program that is typically held in mid October {if I could hand-pick the date, it would ALWAYS be the last week in September, right before General Conference!}.  Anyway, I LOVED the idea that was shared HERE and created a printable (because that’s just how I seem to roll) making it easy for me AND now for you!  Here’s my sneak peek:

What do you think??  It will be ready next week so stay tuned!!  I’ve also got more program review ideas HERE if you want more ideas.
I also have TONS of program helps that I’ll be updating all month long to reflect this year’s theme!  Including a program invitation and physical program.  You can find this year’s post HERE.

I also have reviewing in the chapel helps HERE.

Still with me?  My month of September will be pretty much the same each week.  Here’s how it looks all spelled out:
