Every year for Christmas, our primary hands out a primary music CD as our Christmas gift. It contains the 36 suggested songs found in the Come Follow Me Music for Singing Time 2020.
(find more information on Music for Singing Time 2020 HERE).

If you feel CD’s are a thing of the past, I’ve seen other primaries create digital playlists and email them out to families (creating YouTube playlists like Don-Eva created last year HERE or a Google Drive folder that contains all the songs to download, to name a few ways).
If you’ve done that for your primary, please feel free to share the details on how you did it! My preference is a CD – simply because it’s a more tangible gift. A great idea is to suggest to families is to put the CD in their cars as most vehicles still have a CD player and a captive audience ;).
Natalie shared on the FB group HERE what she did for her primary! Her printable is available in my Resource Library in case you aren’t part of the FB group.
Another option instead of doing a CD is a DVD (or a YouTube playlist of videos). They would be similar to the lesson I did HERE for our 2019 Sing-Along Videos.

Note, these aren’t the cheapest that Amazon sells but I prefer the Sony brand compared to the no-name. For some reason, it makes for easier burning and I have less “non-usable” cd’s – just my experience! (Amazon affiliate link):

When I go to the resource library, I can’t find this BOM CD cover. Am I missing something? Is it somewhere else?
Hi Megan!
I just double checked and it is there…filed under Category Title > CD > 2020 folder. I’ll email you the direct link.

Thanks! I found it. Wasn’t looking under CD. Oops! Haha.
Oh good!

How did you download the songs into iTunes?
Hi Katie!
I did it so long ago, I’m not even sure if it would still work with technology today. But I own the Children’s Songs on CD, and opened up iTunes and imported all the songs to iTunes. If you download the songs from the church’s website, you can open iTunes and search for the song and it should play from there. You may need to Google it for better instructions ;).

I was wondering if you have a list of the songs not bolded, but in the font and fitting in the CD cover? Last year I typed it out, and tried to glue it on your blank cover, because we chose different program songs. It seems like it might be something easy for you to have along with the bolded and blank covers, and look better than my “glued” copy.
Hi Maisy!
Great idea! I’ve got that added to my Resource Library. Thank you for the feedback!

I really appreciate it- you are amazing! Thank you for sharing your talents with all of us.
Hello!
I’m trying to download the songs from the church website but its downloading them to a program called “Groove Music”. Did this happen to you?
Kelly
Hi Kelly!
I did t download my primary songs from the website as I own the songs on cd so I didn’t run into this problem. I’m not home for a few days otherwise I’d check it out for you. I’ll try to look into it when I get home on Wednesday. Sorry!!
~Camille
Hi Kelly!
I’m home now and looking into your issue. When I download the songs from the church’s website and open the file, it automatically defaults to using iTunes to open it. I don’t have a program called Groove Music on my computer. It looks like Groove music is the Windows version of iTunes and I’m going to assume it works similar to iTunes. Maybe when you open the files, right click and see if it will let you open with iTunes instead of Groove Music. Sorry I’m not very techy!
