Camille's Primary Ideas: March 2020 Singing Time Schedule

We’re getting into the thick of 2020 Music for Singing Time!  My March 2020 singing time schedule is all updated and ready to go!

Camille's Primary Ideas: February 2020 Singing Time Schedule

Don’t worry though, if you still need to finish out February’s singing time schedule, I’ve simply archived it HERE.

Camille's Primary Ideas: singing time planner

Each month I fill out Singing Time Planner to schedule my monthly singing time lesson plans (more details HERE).

Camille's Primary Ideas: March 2020 Singing Time Schedule

I’ve also filled out my own March planner HERE.  Use it if you want to follow exactly what I’ve got planned.

Camille's Primary Ideas: March 2020 Singing Time Schedule

See more details on how I determine the various elements in singing time HERE (I HIGHLY suggest reading this post!!). Details like:

  • singing during transition time (wiggle worm jar and interactive bookshelf for Book of Mormon)
  • what to do with monthly suggested songs you aren’t learning for the program
  • incorporating Come Follow Me – Primary song suggestions into singing time

March's Music for Singing Time

Camille's Primary Ideas singing time lesson plan for When I Am Baptized

One of March’s suggested songs for singing time includes When I Am Baptized.  You can find my lesson plan HERE for teaching this primary song.

Camille's Primary Ideas: Dare To Do Right Singing Time Lesson Plan Idea

You can find my lesson plan for Dare to Do Right  HERE.  This is another song suggestion for March.

A Child’s Prayer is also a song suggestion for March.  See my lesson plan for it HERE.

Camille's Primary Ideas: I Will Walk with Jesus singing time idea using simplified ASL

If you’re wondering what I’m teaching for March, I’ve decided to teach I Will Walk with Jesus.  We will be singing this in sacrament meeting on Easter Sunday.  Also in our primary program in the fall.

Easter Sunday falls the 2nd Sunday in April, right after General Conference so we really need to get a head start.  Even though I’m not teaching the 3 suggested songs this month, we’ll still be singing them so don’t worry!

Camille's Primary Ideas: St. Patrick's Day Treasure Hunt Singing Time Lesson Plan Idea

Make sure you also check out my St. Patrick’s Day singing time lesson plans HERE.  I always take a week off every month to sing something seasonal and March means St. Patrick’s Day!  I’m still deciding what to do.  I like this “Lucky or Blessed” idea HERE that I’m tossing around.  More to come!

Camille's Primary Ideas: Using Handbells in Primary

Please note:  I will be using handbells this month to review for the songs we’ll sing on Easter Sunday (April 12th).  More details on handbells can be found HERE including where to purchase and how to use them

  1. Dear Camille,
I love your ideas. I just can’t figure out how to access them. I download the PDF opener, but then what? Do I just click on the document, it loads, and I print? That’s not working! Do I have to click on the opener and then open the document? Do I have to do it all over again each time I want to print a PDF? Is a laptop different than a desktop? Sorry I’m so computer illiterate. i didn’t grow up with computer like all you young kids (I’m 67), I live in Texas, and all my children are in Utah. Please help!

  2. Hi Camille!
Can you please email it to me as well? I can’t seem to open March’s plan this time. Thanks for all your fun ideas!!!

    Hello Camille,
I love your ideas but cannot get the schedule to print. I don’t want to have to download the suggested PDF convert programs. Do you have a simple form you could send me directly? Thank you for sharing your talents!
    Kristen

    1. Hi Camille , I’ve been looking over your ideas. I love your monthly schedules. It’s been a long time since I’ve been in Primary. I would really like the singing planner for March . Thanks for everything you do.
