Play handbells using my new YouTube handbell videos! I hope primary music leaders and families find these videos helpful when using handbells!! Oh how I LOVE handbells!!

I was recently asked for resources for using handbells. When I started looking, I noticed there really wasn’t a lot out there, especially for primary songs.
I know of Merry Bells’ Primary Song DVD (more details HERE), Handbell Heaven HERE and then all my handbell material HERE. Even combined, it’s not very much. If you know of more handbell resources please share!
So I’ve begun the process of creating YouTube handbell videos using my primary song handbell charts.
Videos serve 2 purposes:
- If you’ve ever wanted to use the handbells in primary during singing time, you can now visually see how I use my charts!
- Then, if your family owns handbells, they can now play along with my simple videos. (I also love to bring handbells into the classroom – see how I’ve done that HERE and HERE)
I’ve tried to create them with no talking so you can quickly move from one video to the next. I also have a YouTube playlist HERE that contains all my videos.
When I create new charts, I will be putting them into this format. Also, I’m in the process of putting all my previous charts into this format as well! It’s definitely a work in progress :).
If you are interested in learning more about handbells to use either in singing time or at home, check out my post HERE.

Below are all the videos I’ve completed so far (yes, not very many but be patient with me!!). If you have a chart that you’d like put in this format, let me know and I’ll try to bump it to the top of my primary blog to-do list, haha!

I do have a small error on this video – there is no “B” note to be played even though it says that handbell is needed! Sorry about that!

Thank you for doing this! This will be absolutely wonderful! I recently purchased a set of bells for my own family (and anytime I may be called to help in primary singing time) and this would make it so simple to include them as part of a family scripture study some night. Thank you again!
