If you want to throw in a fun seasonal primary song, sing Hinges using a paper plate skeleton!  It provides great movement and repetition and can be used with your home centered, virtual or in person singing time!

Camille's Primary Ideas: Hinges for Halloween in singing time

Singing Hinges sometime during the month of October is an annual favorite for my primary!  When I pull out my skeleton every year, everyone’s excited!

The initial prep is a little work but after that, it’s easy!  I love singing time when I do the work once!  Find my lesson plan HERE.

Cater Hinges to be:

  • HOME CENTERED: Enlist the help of your kids to create the paper plate skeleton!  They will have loads of fun creating the skeleton themselves!
  • VIRTUAL:  Have the kids tell you over zoom how to position the skeleton or you choose the positions yourself.  Easy!

Then make sure to use the church’s Sing Along App on your phone or the music on the church’s website HERE when you sing it!
