Teach the primary song, Jesus Has Risen at home, virtually or in singing time! This is the perfect song to teach around Easter! Especially when you throw in the bells!! But if you don’t have bells, don’t worry … they aren’t required!

Singing Time or Virtual
My original lesson plan for this song HERE is great to use if you are able to meet together for singing time. Slightly modify it to accommodate a virtual singing time. Instead of hunting for eggs around a room, simply let kids pick an egg to open on screen.
Home Centered
For a home centered variation, I have a coloring page and worksheet for the kids to color and answer questions:

To use the worksheet, simply have your primary kids watch the sing-along video to Jesus Has Risen. You can do this either on the Gospel for Kids app (previously called Sing Along app) or on YouTube here:
Have them color and/or fill in the worksheet as they listen. All the answers are found in the song (but the answer key can be found on my original post linked above if you need).

I want to let you know how much I love the pictures of Christ you have made to sing with Jesus Has Risen! The children love to receive them and there is a beautiful spirit when they raise their pictures of Christ as we are singing! I have given out the pictures when we sang this song for Easter Sunday and they sing so well, they all have smiles on their faces! It is simple enough for my Sunbeams and the Senior primary boys love it too! and then when I brought out the bells for my senior kids to play and they play the intro with bells, use their pictures then end with the bells! It was amazing! I think I will do this every Easter! Thank you so much Camille!
Hi Laurie!
I’m so happy to hear, thank you for taking the time to let me know! Makes my day :).

yes, how do I access the page with all the pictures of the resurrected Jesus. I had it once, but I would like more copies. Thanks
Hi Anne!
They are filed on the Resource Library under Song Title > Jesus Has Risen. I hope that helps.
