I’ve come to really love using the sing along videos in singing time! They were especially helpful during our home centered days of singing time. But now we are back to primary and needing to catch up. Again, the sing along videos are coming in VERY handy! And I’ve discovered a simple way to project them in singing time!!

have an iPhone and decizded that purchasing an adapter cable to connect my phone to our ward building’s TV is my best option.
This way all I’m toting to church is my phone (see how I really feel about phones in singing time HERE!) and the little adapter. Way better than lugging a laptop, speakers while attempting to use the church’s WIFI!
Then I use the NEW Gospel for Kids App to create playlists! Check out more details HERE about that app! It’s AMAZING and a total game changer!

To use it, simply use the cord from the TV that hooks to the DVD player and plug it into the adapter. Then plug the adapter into your phone and VOILA! Everything on your phone is displayed on the TV!

The cord isn’t super cheap but I figure I’ll be getting lots of use out of it. So, worth it, in my opinion.
Here’s the link to the cord I bought. I do recommend the name brand cord (Amazon affiliate link):
Last Sunday, I used it to our January – May songs. I also used it a few weeks ago with my Mother’s Day Coupons singing time idea HERE. So I’ve used it twice in one month already! Then I’ll have it when I use it at the beginning of each year when we preview all our program songs (find more details HERE).
