I’m thrilled we are teaching Reverence is Love in singing time!  I’ve never taught it before!  This is such a sweet and simple song with such a great message!  One of my favorites, especially to play on the piano!

Camille's Primary Ideas: Reverence is Love Singing Time Idea

And if your primary is just getting back to meeting in person, the timing for this song is perfect!  We all need a little reminder about what it means to be reverent after being absent for so long!

You can find my original lesson plan HERE with all the details for an in-person singing time.  It also adjusts well for a virtual singing time.

Home Centered

A small modification can be made for teaching Reverence is Love for your home centered singing time!  Simply share the sing along video here with your primary:

Have them print, color and put together their own single page flip chart as they listen:

For whatever reason, I can’t get the one from the church’s website to print correctly.  So I’ve adjusted it and added it to my Resource Library if you need.  Access my printables at my Resource Library.  Instructions for accessing my Resource Library are found at the bottom of this post.

  1. When I click on the pdf (in the resource library) for the full size sheets it’s giving me an error and saying it couldn’t load more pages. Any tips? I’d love to have these on the board tomorrow. Thanks for all your amazing ideas!

    1. Hi Kalli!

I occasionally get that error too but I think it’s for previewing purposes. If you download the file, the entire file should download and you can print from there. If not, let me know and I’ll email you the file directly.

  2. I can’t find the file for the full size sheets to print. Can you direct me on how to find them? In your resource library there isn’t “reverence is love” under the “R” section. If the file could just be emailed to me, that would be great also!

    1. Make sure you are looking under the “R” section under “Song Title” and not “Category Title”. I’ll email you the file as soon as I get home from church, I’m heading out the door now.
