I have to share how my Old Testament primary bulletin board turned out! It utilizes my interactive bookshelf for the Old Testament along with Susan Fitch’s brand new illustrations!

Like most things I do, it’s pretty simple. I just hung up my interactive bookshelf for the The Books in the Old Testament found HERE.

To put my bookshelf together I printed the empty bookshelf JPEG document from Costco (20×30). Then I printed the books on card stock just on my home printer (I LOVE my printer HERE if you are interested), laminated them (laminator details HERE) and cut them out. I attached them to the bookshelf using velcro dots.
My plan is to have the kids come into singing time and grab a book. Then when we sing The Books in the Old Testament (usually during transition time or opening exercises), kids can come put their book back in place.
The clip art surrounding the bookshelf is all Susan Fitch (are you surprised?). See more details on her new Old Testament kit HERE. She also says she’s got more extensive kits surrounding each story so stay tuned!!

I didn’t have space for all of the characters. And I did add the character names to each image along with a rectangle square to make them easy to cut out ;).
And voila! A primary bulletin board perfect for studying the Old Testament in singing time!

Make sure to check out all my 2022 Old Testament music for singing time material HERE.

Hi Camille,
I love all your ideas. I don’t know how to make a rectangle around pictures like you have for Susan Fitch’s pictures. Help please. I’ll buy the pictures, then what?
Hi Kathy!
If you buy the pictures, I’ll send you my completed files. I just don’t want to infringe on Susan’s copyrighted material.

Hi Camille,
Could I get in on this? I bought the art pack but I’d love the ease of not having to cut them all out.
Hi Valerie!
No problem … I’ll send you my files.

Hi there Camille. Will you please do the same for me. I will purchase Susan’s material but would you be so kind to send me your files as well? You can send to mysavvycurls@gmail.com.
Thank you so much!

Hi Camille,
Did you use a template for the books and if so which one? Also, if you printed the book case at 20”x30” what size did you print the books?
Thank you for sharing your ideas!
Lesa
Hi Lesa!
I just found a book template on Google. The books need to be printed as 8.5 x 11 (a regular sheet of paper). I hope that helps.

Thank you. <3
Sure thing!
I love this so much, thank you for sharing!
Do you cut the books apart individually, or leave them in groups?
Hi Rachel!
I’m glad you like it! I cut mine apart individually. But you can also leave them in groups – totally up to you!
