The May 2022 Friend magazine featured I Want to Live the Gospel in the I Can Play It series. There are SO many uses for these simplified arrangements! Make sure you utilize them in your primary!

I LOVE these simplified primary song arrangements! They are a perfect way for children and adults incorporate more church music into their everyday lives!
Practice on the Piano
If you have primary children learning to play the piano, learning these simplified piano songs is a wonderful way to reinforce gospel messages at home! Especially if the music in The Children’s Songbook is currently too difficult for them.
My own kids always play a primary song or hymn as part of their daily piano practice material.
Beginner Primary Pianist
What about your primary pianist? Are they a beginner? Do them a favor and pass along these simplified arrangements to them! You will be doing both of you a favor … if your pianist can more easily play the music, the primary will have an easier time following along.
Play in Sacrament Meeting
Maybe some of your primary children play a musical instrument that can be played in sacrament meeting. Why not share this music with them so they can share their talent in sacrament meeting (during your primary presentation or not).
Play in Primary
I Want to Live the Gospel is a suggested song for November 2022. How fun would it be to have a primary child introduce it to your primary by playing it on the piano? Or with any other song that relates to that week’s teaching material!
Download the Music
You can download the music HERE at the church’s website. While you are there, make sure to watch (and share!) the sing-along video as well!
Find a list of other I Can Play It arrangements HERE. I’m not sure if this is a complete list or not. If you know of some that are missing, let me know and I’ll link them!
