Resources for Teaching Children

Did you receive the email about New and Existing Resources for Teaching Children?  One of the resources mentioned is the Gospel for Kids YouTube Channel.  I am so excited to learn about this resource!

Find the channel’s link and make sure to subscribe.

Gospel for Kids YouTube Channel Features

There are some awesome features that can be used in singing time!  Some of those include:

  • Stories for Kids: These are the scripture stories found in most Friend magazines and illustrated Scripture Stories.  But now they are narrated!  Perfect to pair with a correlating primary song.

For example, my lesson plan for teaching Jesus Once Was a Little Child HERE uses one of these stories to help introduce the song!

  • Music: YAY!!  These are mostly sing along videos.  Currently, there are only a handful when compared to the Gospel for Kids app.

Fingers crossed that all the sing along videos found on the Gospel for Kids app get shared on the YouTube channel!  That would make using and sharing those videos SO much easier and ad-free!!

Who do we talk to about moving this project to the top of the to-do list!?!

  • So much more! Go explore for yourself and see what cool things your primary and family can do.

Spread the Word

This might be something fun to also share with your Primary families!  If your primary has a monthly newsletter, consider sharing the channel!  It’s a great solution to those often times LONG Sundays!

So make sure to check it out!  If you do use the Gospel for Kids YouTube channel in singing time, I suggest projecting what’s on your phone’s screen to your building’s TV using an adaptor.
