What I love about Jolly Jenn flip charts is they use images published by the Church. They also use a type that can easily be read and don’t require a lot of ink. Not to mention each one is similar in style giving them a very uniform look.
What is a Flip Chart?
A flip chart typically contains words and pictures to a Primary song on multiple pages. You flip each page as you sing the song (hence the name).
Primary music leaders frequently use flip charts to help teach songs in singing time. The charts typically include some or all of the words to a particular Primary song with relevant pictures:
How to Use Flip Charts in Singing Time
Flip charts in singing time can be used in many diverse ways! Some ideas include:
- Putting the pages in order
- Printing 2 copies to create a matching game
- Covering the words and using only the pictures
- Reinforcing words when performing
- Reviewing previously learned songs
- When using handbells
- Introducing new songs
If you know me, you know that I frequently use flip charts to hang over the back of my binder. Typically with no pictures and only text like this:

All Jolly Jenn flip charts will eventually be linked on this Flip Charts tab. However, they are currently all available in the Resource Library under each song title.
On the top of my page on the menu bar, nestled under the “Index” tab is a tab entitled “Flip Charts.”
NOTE: This has changed from “Posting Words.” to now “Flip Charts” for easier reference.

I just tried to get some off her website this week and was wondering what happened.
Thanks for this labor of love.
