If your Primary is struggling with some serious spring fever, they {and you!} will LOVE this spring fever singing time review activity! Review any Primary songs with LOTS of movement, perfect for a wiggly Primary any time of year ;).
I LOVE Holly’s idea she shared on the PML FB group! It’s simple to implement, yet loads of fun, which is right up my alley!

Had lots of fun with something simple this week… Printed out the words on 1/4 sheets (one for each child); then highlighted random words on each one.
Told the kids to stand and sing only the highlighted words on their card (and promised there were NO solos). As we sang, kids and teachers stood up and sat down all over the room.
Then towards the end they all stood (I highlighted the same line on all the cards) to sing the climax of the song.
Then they traded cards and we did it again and again. It was so fabulous. Kids were smiling and singing, teachers were smiling and singing, and the Spirit was there.
All I did was slightly alter it so non-readers can easily participate as well!
For this activity, you simply need a flip chart containing words and pictures for all of the songs you are reviewing. When you print the flip chart, print 4 copies per page (or even 8 if you have a very large Primary).

TIP: I recommend not printing the chorus pages of the flip chart – you’ll see why below.
Then cut out each 1/4 page.
In singing time, pass out the first song’s flip chart pages randomly to the Primary and teachers. Because there are 4 of the same part, make sure that each phrase of the flip chart gets distributed before passing out duplicate pages.
Whatever phrase the child/teacher receives, they must stand (spring up!) and sing their phrase then sit down when finished. Whenever the chorus is sung, have the entire Primary stand together and sing.
After singing, trade cards so each child is able to sing a different part of the song. If singing multiple songs, collect all those flip chart pages before passing out the next song’s flip chart pages.
To help non-readers, hold up the full-size flip chart page. It indicates those who should be standing and singing who hold a matching picture.
Additionally, hold up the chorus flip chart pages when all are standing and singing as needed.
Bear testimony that when we sing Primary songs, we are sharing our testimony with others!

I am trying to do the Spring Fever activity but with Dare to do Right. I cannot seem to manipulate your flip charts pictures and words to that into 4 sheets per page, just the verses. Is this something you can help me with? I do think I need Dare to right! Dare to be true! and then a picture. You have a work that no other can do and a picture. The same the rest of the way. I am still trying on my end but you may be faster.
