More Jesus has an evangelical feel to it which I absolutely love! Here’s what Angie and Monica have to say about it:

To teach More Jesus in singing time, pass out 3 different pictures of Jesus randomly. Have child receive a different Image. One image represents light, love and hope.
Then whenever “Jesus” is sung 3 times in the chorus, those with the light-Jesus hold up that image on the first Jesus. I love this Bright Idea image from The Friend:
Then those with the love-Jesus hold up their image on the second Jesus. I love this Bright Idea image from the Friend:
Lastly, those with the hope-Jesus hold up their image. I love this Jesus Said image from The Friend:
Then when the phrases “Jesus is my … light … love … hope” are sung, they also hold up those images.
Have the Primary trade pictures and repeat! Trade again so each child has held all 3 images of Jesus.

I made word strips of all the phrases as a separate strip (not the chorus as we are using the pictures mentioned above). I mix up the word strips (they have a magnet on the back for easy moving around) and then have kids come up and practice putting the word strips in the right order as everyone is singing along. We keep singing till they are all in the right order and the time to beat gets written on the board. We keep that time from week to week to see if we can beat it.
I love your variation of adding word strips to the pictures for the chorus. That probably really engages the older children! Thank you so much for sharing your idea!
