Teach the Primary song The World Is So Big in singing time with simple cue cards! Your Primary children will love doing their assigned action whenever their keyword is sung.
Simple actions are always a hit with my Primary children! And with these cue cards, they’ll have them learned in no time!
For this activity, you need this 4-page black and white printable:

Print on card stock, laminate (optional) and cut out.
Before Primary, place the keyword illustrations on the floor in a line across the front of the room. Teach these actions as you and the teachers sing:

Post the words using this flip chart format as needed.
Once learned, assign one child a keyword phrase and to come stand at the front of the room next to their assigned keyword.
TIP: For larger Primaries, assign each class an action and remain seated.
When each child hears their phrase sung, have them perform their action. Have the rest of the Primary perform all the actions as you sing.
Repeat until each child has had a turn to perform a keyword phrase (or multiple actions).
