The May 2026 Friend magazine features a brand NEW song, God’s Love by Linda Urquhart and Shawna Edwards! This song teaches children that through many Bible stories, we see that just as Heavenly Father cared for people in the scriptures, He loves and cares for us too.

I love how relatable these lyrics relate scripture stories to today!

In ev’ry Bible story I read, I learn this undeniable thing:

Teach the children these simple actions for key phrases in the chorus:
When you sing about each story found in the scriptures, provide a coordinating picture. Let children stand at the front of the room and hold them up when singing about that phrase.
For additional movement, have the Primary children march in place for each story to the rhythm.
