Make sure your Primary knows about the upcoming Friend to Friend September 2026 Broadcast! Children have the opportunity to learn more about the gospel and interact with general Church leaders during these events!
The September 2026 Friend to Friend broadcast theme is “The Family Is of God.” Below is a little information from the link:
A new “Friend to Friend” video for children from The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints titled “The Family Is of God” will be released on Sunday, September 13, 2026.
The video includes messages from Elder Gérald Caussé of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles, his wife, Valérie, and the new Primary General Presidency, who were sustained during April general conference and begin serving on August 1: President Rosemary K. Chibota; Sister Nina M. Garfield, First Counselor; and Sister Theresa A. Collins, Second Counselor.
This content for children can be used at home or in Primary to help children better understand the importance of families and how they can strengthen theirs.

Distribute the Flyer
The Sunday before the broadcast, attach the flyer (print 4 to a page for a perfect size!) to a bag of microwave popcorn and give them to your Primary children! Such a simple and inexpensive reminder! This is an example of what our Primary gave for a previous broadcast:
Friend to Friend Drive-In
If you are looking for creative ways to view the broadcast together as a Primary, try a Primary drive-in! This Primary made cars from cardboard boxes then the kids sat and watched the broadcast like a drive-in movie:
The cars are complete with license plates (an acronym of their ward Primary name), tires, steering wheels, and the children’s own decorations!. Super easy and super fun!
And nothing completes a drive-in movie like drinks and snacks! Looks like such a fun and simple Primary activity!

Minor Schedule Changes for Primary & Singing Time
