Primary Toolbox is a new all-in-one resource for Primary music leaders! Plan and present singing time digitally all from one place!
Primary Toolbox is a new resource that is currently looking for more Primary music leaders to test it and provide feedback. If you’re interest has been piqued like mine has, here are more details:
Help Test Primary Toolbox: A New Tool for Primary Music Leaders
The goal for Primary Toolbox is to create an all-in-one digital toolbox to make singing time a little easier to plan and teach.
They are currently looking for Primary music leaders who are willing to try the beta, explore what’s there, and give honest feedback.

Not ready to sign in yet? That’s completely fine! You can still visit the Teach section as a guest and explore what’s currently available.
Digital Flipcharts You Can Use Anywhere
The current beta includes more than 25 digital flipcharts for Primary songs. The flipcharts work on:
- Your phone
- A tablet
- A computer
If you have a TV available in your Primary room, you can also share your screen and use the digital flipchart with the whole Primary.
And if there’s a song you’d love to see added, request it directly through the app!
Much More Coming
The flipcharts are just the beginning. Coming soon are additional tools to help with singing time planning and activities.
Some of the things currently in development include:
- A “Fill It In” game
- A Jeopardy-style review game
- Timers
- Noise meters
- Lesson-planning tools
- More singing time games and activities
- Additional teaching tools
The next major release will also include multilingual support for official Church songs, with English and Spanish coming first.
Primary Toolbox will eventually give you a place where you can find the tools you need for singing time without having to piece everything together from multiple places.
Give Your Feedback
Because Primary Toolbox is still in its testing phase, your feedback is very helpful.
If you find a bug, something that doesn’t work quite right, or even something that simply feels confusing, submit your feedback directly through the app.
And if you have an idea for a tool, game, feature, or song you’d like to see added, let them know as well.
This project is still being built, so now is a great time to jump in and help shape what it becomes.
