Angie Killian and Monica Scott are some of my favorite children’s song composers! I’m less familiar with Emily Pack but when she’s working with the best of the best, she’s gotta be AMAZING!

Hosanna! Amen” is a heart-mending song about preparing for and celebrating the second coming of Our Savior.
This project has been incredibly special. From sitting in Monica’s living room with her and Emily and whipping out 80% of the song in just a few hours, to recording vocals with amazing kids to an amazing track, and filming one of the trickiest videos we’ve ever done, it has been such a JOYFUL experience.
I get chills just thinking about it. I hope you love it!

As the video suggests, we liken hosannas with palm branches (when the Savior was welcomed into Jerusalem, the people praised him and waved palm branches)! So pass out something to represent that to all your Primary children. Ideas include:

Print on card stock, laminate and cut out.
To introduce the song, have the Primary listen for all the “hosanna” words. When the words are sung, have them stand and wave their palm branch.
Afterwards, introduce simple action-word actions that follow the lyrics of the song such as:
Continue to stand and wave palm leaves when “hosanna” is sung.
